August is here, and that means:
Back to school. It's a big one around here. Jordan is going into Jr. High and Jemma is starting Kindergarten! I feel completely unprepared.
Happy birthdays. We have a lot of family birthdays this month, including the anticipated addition of two nephews - thanks to Jessica and Lauralee! It's also Hooper's first birthday this month. (Remember our puppy?) Jemma's got that day well-marked on her calendar with festivities in the planning. And I'll be 37 by the time this month is over.
Vacation? We've been thinking about/semi-planning/intending to take a trip to San Diego this summer. Now here's August and the calendar is quickly filling up with obligations, appointments, meetings, registrations.... Wish us luck.

I knew your birthday was coming but was still panicked when I read this in your post because I didn't have it down on my list. Apparently I have it on a lesser-used blogger list and no my mail good mail list. Sorry about that. I'm glad I have 24 days notice!!
it's hopeless, we will not be taking a vacation this summer, school starts next WEEK, but I don't think the kids have even noticed, hey can I have that cake for my birthday PLEASE!!!!!

I can't believe that Jordan is old enough to go to Jr. High! Time flies. Is Jemma excited for school? Belle can't wait, but I'm not sure how I feel about it.

How dare you show that cake. I've never seen a chocolate cake that looks so good. Yummy!! We aren't going anywhere. We just want this baby to come soon. I really wanted an 8-8-08 baby. Didn't happen. We got the picture of my Dad waterskiing/wakeboarding. Thats pretty impressive!!

MY little jorvik turned three on the fourth and it is our 15th anniversary on the 7th....some newphews and your birhtday! wow. August back to school? common...have you been to the top of the hyatt hotel there on the harbor? there is a bar right smak where that huge rectangle window is....it is a great view...have you gone up and seen it? How fun, but I just read that you skipped out of it....well, next time you come, they do have a ferry from coronado island to the harbor in sd....(i got married at the DEL coronado so it is always fun to take the cruise back and forth....have you done this? I think it is like 5 dollars per person..something like that...well, I will have to visit your 100 list to see what I can come up with...hehehehehhe
