It's not very obvious - since it's no longer on my header - that my blog is called The Blog Report. I chose it pretty quickly, but hesitated publishing my blog for the longest time as I tried to come up with something more interesting. I still feel like I'm waiting for a better idea to hit me. Anyway, I've always been one to keep records and journals. I've documented most of my life in writing -- journals, notebooks, Word documents....

I also keep pretty detailed calendars. So when I decided to plunge into blogging -- which, by the way, I loved the concept of for a long time before I actually created my own -- I liked that it would be a way of reporting some thoughts and parts of life that don't otherwise tend to get documented. So it's the blog report. It sounds like something from CNN, doesn't it?

I've never expanded on my profile because I have a very hard time coming up with a description of myself. I like the idea of including a little snippet regarding who I am, but I don't know where to start or stop. It would be excellent if someone who knows me well would be willing to write it for me!
My header has changed a few times. I like the one I have now -- simple and graphic, but I need to add some text to it. (My Photoshop skills are still developing.) The trouble is, I always visualize what I want, but it's not always easy to achieve.

you're right - i want to cue the CNN music, "and now, here's laurie with the blog report."
i think it's a great name, and i'm envious of your recording skills - your calendar looks meticulous.
I love your name, you are always so organized and I love how you document everything, you are very inspirational
Laurie, you are So stinkin cute! Thanks so much for the card in the mail:) No, my mailbox was full of bills today like normal with one bright shining envelope from YOU! That was seriously so sweet of you...it made my day. I am so envious that you are a great documenter. I used to be but struggled for several years after high school... I think I'm back on track keeping a journal. I love blogging. So, have you had your blog published? I need to do that.
Keeping records has always been something I've enjoyed too. However, I remember when I was a teenager I started a journal on the computer and David called me Doogie Howser (sp?) and would hum the theme music to that show while I was typing. That journal didn't last long.
That's hilarious Brian.
