Weird Way to Start the Day

I was having a rough time getting up this morning until a leg cramp propelled me out of bed to stretch. That, and the fact that someone was standing on her curb waiting for me to pick her up to go to the gym.

It was one of those days when, even after being up for awhile, I still felt like a bleary-eyed mess. So we went to the Cardio Cinema for the first time. (The dark room was appealing on this kind of a morning.) There's a giant almost-full-size movie screen and the sound is loud enough to drown out the treadmill noise.

One of the Pirate's movies was playing - I think the third one, but I've never seen the second so I can't be sure.

Who watches action flicks first thing in the morning? What is the mental equivalent of feng shui? Because I don't think that kind of drama goes well with that time of day. It's been haunting me. But I least I got three miles in!

Have you ever been in a Cardio Cinema?

I think the cardio cinema is a great thing but you are right it needs to be the right movie at the right time and unfortunately you can never please everyone at the right time. It was so nice to hear someone say my pregnancy has gone fast because all I hear from people here is "aren't you about ready to pop?" so encouraging. we will call you as soon as he is here. Hope you guys are having a fun summer.

that's an interesting idea...they don't have anything like that around here. if you are at the gym you might get CNN or the Food Network but not in a movie-type environment.

The Pirates 2 and 3 movies are pretty well indistinguishable. Neither of them make much sense or have very followable plots, so, it doesn't really matter.

What would have been a better choice for early in the morning?

I wonder if I could run all the way through a movie? Interesting. Oh this is Leanne

I've heard about cardio cinema, but I've never been in it, because my membership expired and I haven't renewed it yet.
It sounds like fun and maybe funner if they had a chick flick!

I have heard of cardio cinema but don't currently belong to a gym, so I haven't experienced it. I can say, however, that Pirates 3 is the last thing I would want to watch right after I got out of bed. I hope it was better for you! Good job getting your exercise in today. I bet it felt great!
