click the photo for a closer look A few nights ago I went to a cooking class hosted and taught by the talented Stephanie of stephmodo. It was a lovely evening in the company of creative and interesting people, and excellent food.
The menu:
Pork Souvlaki Kebabs with Mushrooms, Lemon & Oregano
Greek Salad with Bulgarian Feta
Warm Pita Crisps
Summer Fruit
Bittersweet Molten Lava Cakes with Ice Cream
I must add that Bulgarian Feta is like no other feta I've had -- creamy, with a full rich flavor. Pellegrino was a delightful surprise. Light and refreshing (quite unlike Perrier). Fresh pineapple and mango are a perfect combination of fruit. And warm pita crisps dipped in hummus make an excellent appetizer or side dish.
