Jemma just finished her soccer season and while some of the games were in the blazing sun (the poor kids would get so hot) the last few were on the shady field. It made a big difference for them and us, the spectators. In fact, the games were very pleasant and fun when played in the shade. I was loving those Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the park.
Last Wednesday, before my mouth and ability to eat properly were altered, we sat on a shady patio at a favorite diner for lunch. The memory is even better now when I think of how effortlessly I was eating and enjoying food. It hasn't been the same since.
And sometimes you have to bring your own shade. For me that means a hat and sunglasses. It's saving my eyes and hopefully my face. (I'm trying to get better about including a SP in the SPT challenges.)

First - LOVE that hat!!! I have gotten where I wear a hat in the sun almost all the time - Is it becasue we are getting older??? Also love your banner picture of the flowers - they are to-die!

I love that fact that you bring your own shade.. something I am horrible about... I also like that you are doing a self-portrait as part of the SPT... I need to think about that more! Hang in there... we will make it through this heat. I promise!
What a stylish hat - I love it! So sorry to read about your dentist woes. I was wincing when you were describing what you had to go through - so awful. I hope you can get back to your fun evenings soon. Take care!

Ok I know I should know because I read yours all the time but what does spt and sp stand for? Bryson is excited for jordan to come and brielle would love to have Jemma! They haven't seen each other all summer and we start school on the 12th of august. Can we plan on the first weekend of November for Disneyland? I want to let everyone know dates so everyone can plan to go if they can. the hat and glasses are very cute!

I hope that your gums get back to normal soon. Must be tough- what are you able to eat? Have you been watching lots of movies?
