My kids are extremely motivated by ice cream. I buy it occasionally, and I prefer this brand:
this is one of those products that has recently been reduced in size, although the price stayed the sameOr sometimes this:

small picture, but do you see that peanut butter in the chocolate? that's good stuff.
I'm totally cheating on this one because, not only am I excluding a self-portrait, I also cannot claim these photos as my own.
One last thing, I have this calendar that has a different quote each week. This week the quote is: "Enjoy your ice cream while it's on your plate." - Thornton Wilder
Does this make sense? Is that supposed to be some kind of metaphor? I just don't like it because the only time you really eat ice cream off a plate is when it's paired with birthday cake. And then you end up eating the ice cream with a fork, or the cake with a spoon. Either way it's weird.

the plate, spoon, fork debate is too funny! I go with cake and ice cream in a bowl and with a spoon. :)
My husband almost always eats ice cream with a fork, out of the container. Isn't interesting that those containers continue to get smaller. And peanut butter with chocolate is my choice of flavor.
The fork/spoon birthday cake/icecream quandry is funny especially that there is an official quote to go with it!
Oh, I love the quote! that makes everything more official, huh?
I'm a spoon person! forks??
Ha Ha...you are funny. Give me whatever utensil/container and as long as I have ice cream I am HAPPY!
i run hot and cold with ice cream. sometimes i'm obsessed with it, most of the time i could take it or leave it.
Bryers strawberry is my second favorite. we could have ice cream together!

Peanut Butter and chocolate - my favorite! Love it! I see what you mean about that quote - weird!
I am with you on the Baskin Robbins BP&C.
I don't get that quote at all. I keep trying to get deep about it but coming up with nothing.
My husband eats ice cream nearly every night...and you have seen how thin my husband is, life can be so unfair.
oh, those smaller cartons. bryer's was tricky about it - and you don't notice until you look at the profile... things like that make me search for the buy one get one free deals, which seems so silly to me since i don't eat that much ice cream!!
sounds like a little sarcasm in the quote. I brought home transformers for the boys from albertsons, because they have been cooped up all week, and they have been doing really well on their jobs lately. Anyway, they are eating them up, they love them, but soon those transformers (like a couple of hours) are going to 'melt', and just not be as fun and exciting. Who likes to eat melted ice cream, so enjoy it while it is frozen! I am not so much into ice cream unless it goes with something like warm apple crisp, warm brownies, or even better on top of a cookie right out of the oven!!!!
well, I love hagen...but alfredo introduced me to bryers...and now i tried other than chocolate chip...I've tried a shaved chocolate one...OH SOOO GOOD! I usually don't eat it just for eating sake, but this one I really did, it was kind of like the venitian dessert remeber those ice cream cakes?
Does that quote mean we should enjoy it while it's there because it won't last? I'm not sure.
I love ice cream, so it's always a temptation for me (unless it's the cheap kind). I haven't done this SPT yet because I'm not quite sure how to capture my love for it just right.
That's an interesting quote!
I love ice cream, but I agree with you...It has to be a good brand like breyers!
My favorite is de Dulce de Leche by Haagen-Dazs.
Laurie, sorry that comment that says Cam and Michelle was from me. Maybe you can help me, when I got a blog, I used cam's gmail. Then I gave you my email for the Johnson site, is there any way to put my blog on my right account?
