The whole idea of this SPT Challenge made me laugh because I knew exactly what object I would feature.
the other day, i was in my dining room, and i noticed this chicken. my only thought was, "why do i still have this hanging around my house?!?"
The trouble is that I KNOW why this is still hanging around. Every time I dust it or move it I have this circle of thoughts:
Why is this still here?
Because Jemma loves it.
She loves a lot of things. Animals.
But she really took to this, she's even slept with it on occasion. (and yes, it is breakable)
Then move it to her room.
It will break for sure if it's in there and ever ends up hitting the floor.
Then put it in storage.
There's no point in storing it.
So why is it still here?
Jemma loves it.
And so it remains.

I am so intrigued with what kids take a liking to and I think it is so fun that jemma loves animals-even if they are funny chickens. I loved your last post that had the great quote. Anyone who reads heidi's blog may think that life is bliss and everytime I read them I have to smile and remind myself that-it is sooo not normal. Love heidi and maybe I just forgot how much time I had with no kids :) Thanks we had a great time visiting and wish we could do it more. We would love to have you come and visit. Love, Michelle
this is hysterical!! gotta love the things we'll hang on to for our kids.
i am really having a tough time picturing her sleeping with this - although goodness knows i've found action figures and legos galore in jack's bed!
At least you have a really good reason for having it, and what a sweet mom you are to keep it around for her.
