52 Blessings Project, #6
I love age 5. It wouldn't be fair, or accurate, to say I love it more than any other age, but I'm presently enjoying it. There is very little crying with five-year-olds, compared to the earlier preschool years. There is an air of independence, but still a good amount of dependence and need for mommy. Learning every day, wise discoveries, uninhibited imagination and creativity, little hands with dimpled knuckles, all baby teeth still intact. I like to call her my little girl, but she insists that she's a big girl. My big little girl. Just like my big little boy.

Sweet post!
I love your description of age 5, I liked it too. My kids both have big teeth now and it's just not the same.
I'm thankful for Jemma too. I love her imagination, her sweetness. I love how she is just so beautiful and kind, and how she loves animals as much as me (rare thing in a Holdaway clan)! She and Jordan are really great kids.
What a sweet profile. And I LOVE her name.
You have such cute kids! I love them both to death.
It was fun catching up on your blog. Hope you had fun in SD. We are excited to see you this weekend. I think we will leave Thurs. afternoon. I was thinking maybe we would go to boondocks Friday night and then after their graduation Sat. we are going to have a pizza/ice-cream party. Those are not definite, but thats what we have in mind. We are also open for any other suggestions. I know you are busy with sports and work, so don't feel obligated, we just want to see you sometime though. We are not leaving until Monday.
