*Let her wake up to a festive birthday display, including wrapped gifts, balloons and cake.
*Make sure the cake lives up to her specifications. (Pink frosting with a white six, although I apparently fell a little short in that it was expected to have more frosting swirls and sprinkles. And the super camera flash washed out the coconut six.)

*Let her bring along a friend to McDonald's for lunch.

*A trip to Build-a-Bear workshop.

*Indulge her request for dinner at The Training Table, even if it is only for macaroni & cheese and the novelty of ordering by telephone.

*Surprise her with the two-wheeled scooter she's been wanting for a long, long time. (The one that's pink and that her brother will definitely not want to borrow it since it's B-B-B-Barbie!)

Happy Birthday Jemma, I didn't realize Laurie that you were having a birthday this week! I love the BARBIE scooter! How fun!
Happy Birthday Jemma! I bet waking up to a birthday display was a wonderful way to start the day!
It looks like a banner birthday for Jemma! She is such a cute girl, I love all her requests.
Could a 6 year birthday get any better?? I really don't think so.
what an awesome day for sweet Jemma! I know she loved it and will be glad you documented it so she will remember how wonderful it was.
love your new header!!
Happy Birthday Jemma! I'm jealous of the cake and the pink scooter! Madison isn't all than in to pink anything anymore, in fact she repeatedly tells me "I don't want to look too girly". Sad huh?
Happy Birthday Jemma :) You're such a pretty girl! - Barrett
You're so sweet to put all that thought and energy into Jemma's special day! I know she'll remember it always, how fun!
Brilliant move getting the Barbie scooter. It will forever be solely Jemma's.
Sounds perfect! Happy birthday to your daughter!
Happy Birthday Jemma! You made it such a special day. I love the idea of her waking up to presents and cake. I've never done it that way- usually just a special breakfast. She is such a lucky girl.
I love that you had a surprise waiting when she woke up. She'll ALWAYS remember that. :) Good mommie.
