Jordan can't seem to pull himself away from all the action. Jemma seems to be inspired by it. I wonder if I should be more serious about the aspirations of a 5 year old - she wants to "sign up" for everything now. Last night she set up this crazy track all through the house with blankets and shoes and was running around and around it, exhausting everyone but herself.
So the kids might not have to get up early - yet - but I do. I'd prefer not to, but it's so hard to fit exercise in any other time of day. Lately we've been running outside, rather than at the gym -just to mix things up a bit, and because the morning air is so refreshing. I took my camera along this morning so I could document some of the beautiful sights on our 3 mile route.

Beautiful pictures. You must be a good runner - I dont' add any extra weight (like a camera) when I'm running! Way to go on the early rising, that takes discipline! I go running later in the morning because my kids are old enough to leave home alone.
I love your early morning pictures, especially the bottom 3! You're so good to get up early to run. I have totally lapsed on being gymalicious the past 3 months! I need to start again, but am giving myself this first week of school to get used to getting up earlier than I have been all summer. Excuses, excuses.
wow, you know it's crazy how different the scenery in the morning is here!!!Only four hours away. I'm slightly jealous, but give us a month, and it will be just as refreshing, we had to go running at 5 am on a Saturday it gets hot way too fast!!! Like you don't know:) I think it is funny how kids gravitate to a certain event, Lydia loved the floor routines, and can't get enough.
We've had some late nights, too. But, what the heck every two years staying up late ~ I can do that! I think gyms and pools get a lot of sign ups this time of year!!
I've been trying to figure out how to do that 'collage' thingy with some pictures. How do you do that?? I love it!
Oh...my those photos are lovely....the only thing i have been seeing is the track..which is kind of inspring at the moment with olympics...but round and round and round and round...I keep wanting to bring the camera, to take pictures of alexei...he is such a stud! Next time....I try to fit a four mile walk....now i have to do it daily....right now averaging a 3 times a week....
