Grass SPT

These Self-Portrait Tuesday challenges have been interesting in a fun way. Lelly's theme for July was five elements of summer: sun, water, shade, grass and ice cream. It's a good creative challenge, and I like thinking about the themes and working on the photos, even though I can't always include myself. And if it weren't for this, I probably wouldn't otherwise document my thoughts on grass. Would you?

For the most part, I really like grass. It has a cooling and softening effect. Especially in summer. But I was thinking that I sort of have the same feelings about grass as I do about hair: it's better when attached.

Finding stray grass in places where it doesn't belong - like finding a stray hair on the bathroom sink - is downright bothersome.

That is a really funny attitude, but totally true. I hate finding pieces of grass on stuff, especially me!

Man your grass is beautiful.
I agree with the SPT challenges and how they get you to document or talk abut something you otherwise would not.

so true. It's amazing how you can't seem to get your grass to grow just right, but then you find it all in your flower beds. What's up with that?

Why do you suppose that grass is GREEN?
How about a nice cerulean blue, or a wild crimson.
The sky is blue, tomatoes are red and grass is green for a reason.. and on and on.
They are God's gifts to us.
He is the master planner and artist. So...in heaven are there more than just the colors and nuances of color that we have on earth?
People are just dying to find out!
