I mentioned last week that I write letters for them. Here's the scoop on that: if someone has a question, comment, complaint or compliment (or really any type of random or weird feedback) for JetBlue they can fill out a form on the website (or write a letter or send a fax) and I'm one of the people who will answer those inquiries. It's a good sign when a company seriously values their customer's and sends a personal response every time we hear from one.
I've always enjoyed writing letters, so it seemed like a good fit for me.
Anyway, if you know much about JetBlue you might know that they love to play on the word blue. Each plane has a name and they all have something to do with the word blue like "Blue Belle," "Blueberry," "Blue Traveler," "Forever Blue," "Can't Get Enough of Blue."

Surely there is a plane named 'Out of the Blue'. That is a really interesting job, what insight into people you must get from reading and responding to their letters.
Are there more complaints than compliments?
i bet that's fascinating. i would much prefer to field written compliments/complaints than the phone calls. we do something similar at hampton.
thanks for filling us in on your job. i bet you can write up a blue streak...
Sounds like an interesting job. I too, would much rather anwer emails than phone calls. Thanks for sharing the jet blue!
How did you get a job like this? It sounds ideal and oh so blue.
that job sounds great! I would say that yes, you have enough blue
We've flown Jet Blue a few times...my husband was very pleased with the service. No complaints here.

Very cool job. Feelin' BLUE ain't always a bad thing, huh?
The list goes on and on with the play on the word blue as far as jetBlue is concerned. What a cool company! Did you start out in reservations? That is where I am right now. Someday when I get a second I really will send you and email and we will have to chat. Thanks for sharing that!
I didn't know you worked for JB! What an interesting job. Is it hard to show restraint when someone leaves a nasty comment?
oh my laurie, I had no idea that they had different names...how cool is that....Oh wow. each day you learn somethinghuh..... that is nice to be able to do something you love to do and still get paid for it.
