Spotted

I've been a rather reticent fan of Keri Smith and her ideas about art. Intrigued with her books, but had never sought one out. Then last weekend, I spotted this one at the airport:

It looked so fun! I didn't get it, thinking at the time that Jemma wasn't quite old enough to really appreciate it. Later I realized it would be a great book for a girl of any age. It's not your typical activity book. She really has a way of inspiring creativity.

Madison is way into stuff like this. For Easter I try to get her stencil books or some fun activity book. She has some lettering books and a really fun design book that Julia uses to create dance costumes with. So so so girly!

Why a reticent fan? I have her Living Out Loud book and really like it. I think she's great.

I really enjoyed checking out her blog especially that list of "ideas" she has on the sidebar. I need to look for this book for my Carly. I think she would love it.

That looks like a great book. I've never heard of her...have I been living in a cave? I'll have to check out her website

We have this book and Cassidy loves it. It stays in the car so she can have something to do while we are driving around. (I don't have a tv in my car and I'm happy about it for this very reason!)
