I tend to find something I like for breakfast and then stick with it. Not much variety for me in the mornings. Right now it's this granola. And if it's not this, then it's oatmeal (only the old-fashioned rolled oat kind). But I prefer the granola because it's a good balance of everything.
On the subject of cereal, the last time we went to Lake Powell, Michelle brought along a Kashi Crunch cereal and soy milk. (remember that? it was good.) Although I haven't really been into Kashi products I did find the website to be full of good things. There's a daily challenge that includes topics like Natural Lifestyle, Nutrition & Health, Natural Foods, Fitness. I like stuff like this -- ideas and tips for better living.

I like this cereal too. I also enjoy Kashi Autumn Wheat. It's so nice to start the morning off with something other than sugar :)
I can't believe this, but I'm leaving a comment for you--referring to YOU on SOMEONE ELSE'S blog! Weird. But I just had to tell you that after reading Jill's friday post....I HAVE SOME SERIOUS JACKET ENVY! The two of you look so pretty & happy in that picture.
That picture on HER post. *rolling my eyes*
These really healthy-looking cereals always remind me of the old SNL mock-commercial about a cereal called Colon-Blow. Apparently I'm still 12.
Jill, you are not 12, you're a 14 year old boy. I actually had the same memory. My mom was totally into Kashi and now she's totally into Flax. She puts it into EVERYTHING. I am just starting to board the fiber train, but only because I heard that fiber restricts the amount of calories your body will absorb. But you have to eat 35g A DAY. Break out the bran ladies. Grapefruits have a lot of fiber too though :)
I love this cereal!!! And I love Coaches Oats. Have you tried those? You won't eat quaker oatmeal ever again! They have both this ceral and Coaches Oats at Costco and I load up!!
If you're into oatmeal, you should make some Monster Cookies. Maybe you have had them before, but Jess just make some and they are good, choc chips, oatmeal, peanut butter and M & M's.
