The answer to this lies on my nightstand. I'd read these books and finally put this photo album together. It's all a work in progress.

It always sounds like a great idea to have an extra hour. If I could scoop up all the random moments of the day that are free and quiet (like the 5 or 10 minute lull as I wait to pick up Jemma from preschool, and the 7-14 minute "snooze" between the time my alarm goes off and I actually get up....) they might make up one solid hour. The trouble is, an hour goes by fast.
p.s. I have a pretty loose interpretation of self-portrait. As in: it's not always a portrait of one's physical self.

I'm sure it would be upsetting to find how much time we'd have if we could scoop together all those 5 minute breaks during the day.
Photo albums...oh dear, I've been married for 7 years and we still haven't got a photo album done!
Reading's a popluar one, so far that I've read. I've yet to find anyone who's SPT'ed 'Exercise' for this one!
I have the exact same intereptation of self-portrait!
I like to take my book clubs in the car with me and then I get to read for 10 minutes while I wait to pick up the kids. It's only 10 minutes and it is with 2 toddlers yelling at me from time to time, but I have actually gotten through a couple of my books that way!
Ok, that was suppose to say book club books.
i wish my nightstand looked this inviting!! and i love your loose interpretation of *self-portrait*!!
I like your idea of scooping together all the random moments here and there--very smart! How do we do that?!? :)
(over from SPT)
Love your nightstand (did you have to clean it up before you took the picture?) - reading and picures - some of my favorite things.
