What do people eat for dinner? I want to know, but really I need to know. Do you plan out well-balanced meals? Do you cook things in advance? Do you throw something together creatively at the last minute? Do you have a large variety of favorites?
If it's one o'clock in the afternoon and I don't have a plan in mind for dinner, it becomes a nagging little unsettled thought in the back of my mind until it's figured out. I like cooking, it's the planning that gets me.
So - what are your solutions? What do you eat for dinner?

Oh dear, I am so NOT the right person to answer this question. We forage most of the time at our house because I hate the meal planning, cooking and clean-up part of things. We had spaghetti on Monday night, so I'm 1 for 3 this week.
You might want to check these blogs (they're linked on mine) for menu ideas. Mique, Wendi and Kelly. They're all good about posting what they're making and Mique has a separate blog with all her recipes.
wow...sometimes I have your dilema, and i consider myself a chef...most of the times, I am the last one, just on a whim...see what is there and what I can gather up. I wished I would plan recipies, at least that way I would at least get excited for something....
I just joined a cooking group that I was very hesitant about but have loved so far. There are 5 of us that all cook one meal on sundays and make it enough for five servings of 4 then we meet that evening and exchange. I have had two stress free nights dinner was delicious and I didn't have to think or stress. Cam and the kids have loved it the most and that says a lot! Sunday we had a taco chicken rice dish. Monday we had a cafe rio style salad or burrito. Tonight was taco soup. Tomorrow we will have BLT pizzas and Sweet and sour chicken the next night and I only had to cook on sunday! I think it great. I'll let you know how it goes but so far so good
I hate dinner time!!!! I just get so frustrated with trying to make sure it is healthy, and has a lot of vitamins, that I get so frustrated. I love this blogging thing, sign me up as an author on the Johnson blog.
