What a great idea to have your siblings work on this list with you. Please tell me you're printing it up for your dad so he can have a copy? What a great gift that would be!!

seeing your dad was always a highlight of our utah trips - seeing everyone in your family was.

i don't know if i have ever told you this but a few months before my mission your dad gave me a key from his art studio. he had a bunch of old keys hanging on a hook. he told me some of them were from his mission in france (i hope i am remembering that part right)
he took one off and gave it to me and told me it would represent locking my heart for my mission. i carried that on every key ring i had my whole mission and after jeff proposed to me I gave it to him and told him the story and said it was the key to my heart i had been waiting to give away. i still have it and it is a treasure to me.

when i was a little girl i used to tell my friends that your mom and dad were the Carpenters - we had this old record with the carpenters on the front and i thought it was your parents singing all those songs.

Happy Birthday to your dad!

I'm glad I checked your blog today. I think your Dad is the greatest too. He is a great cousin and always positive and in a good mood. He has forever endured many health challenges with great courage. I loved reading your list, and now I need to call him and tell Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday "Uncle" Richard. We were all pretty shocked in the Rasmussen family when we realized that you aren't really our uncle. Well, my parents knew all along but us kids were shocked.

I have always loved the illustrations you drew in my book of rememerance when I was a baby. The Snow White one expecially.
