Tattlefest 2007

Ever since I started working at home again (for about 6 weeks I was working at the office), the kids seem to be having a hard time readjusting to the fact that I'm actually working.

They create lists of things they need/want to do while I'm working, but we never get too far into the afternoon before the whole series of tattling begins.

"Mom...Jemma won't help...."
"Mom...Jordan's eating another popsicle...."
"Mom...guess what Jordan said...."

My only response has been, "You know what to do, work it out."

Finally, the other night, after a day of frequent tales of who did what, it all culminated in this from Jemma:

"Mom, Jordan's going to tattle on me!"

That is so classic! Do you ever wonder why kids are such kids? No one really teaches them to tattle, they just do. Are you actually getting any work done?
